The MSc "Building and Ensembles Reuse" on ERT3: Volos as a Living Laboratory of Architectural Reuse

We are delighted to invite you to watch ERT3's informative show "Project Perifereia", which is now available on the ERTFLIX platform.

In the "Volos" episode of the first season, the Postgraduate Program (MSc) "Building and Ensembles Reuse" of the Department of Architecture at the University of Thessaly takes a central role. Program faculty, instructors, and researchers actively participate in the show, shedding light on the critical issue of reusing the iconic industrial buildings of Volos.

Based and operating in the city of Volos, the master's program is not merely a space for theoretical education, but a living laboratory for knowledge production. Through continuous interaction with the local urban and industrial stock, the MSc generates applied knowledge, proposing sustainable and innovative solutions that breathe new life into the region's built environment. This broadcast highlights the systematic work of the postgraduate program and the connection of academic research with society and local development.

📢 Opening of New Application Cycle (2026-2027)

Concurrently, the submission of applications for the new academic year is announced. Interested candidates (graduates of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Spatial Planning, etc.) are invited to submit their files.

Application Deadline: Until September 1, 2026
